Words have leaked out that Denver is very much interested in the beleaguered forward named Ron Artest.

Artest is due to make $7.4 million this year and may opt out after the season. Should he continue to stay as a Nugget, he’s due $8 million.

Mile High City can really benefit from this man as he can boost their frontcourt’s defense. Defense is a premium during the last stretch of the season and into the playoffs.

When he was traded to the Kings January 2006, Sacramento won 14 of it’s last 19 games to squeeze into playoff contention.
