Home sweet home

center The PBA will hold it’s current Fiesta Conference championship series between Brgy.Ginebra Kings and the San Miguel Beermen on Monday July 13, 2009.

The problem? UAAP (or was it Araneta itself who wants more money?) has taken the said date for its games.

Another problem? The PBA still has to break it’s plan of having their own home. Something like a 25,000-seater arena with state-of-the-art sound system and LED scoreboards.

This can clearly give PBA more money to save plus earn some when offseason begins.

Living Strong

Lance_armstrongSeven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong is back on the road and on his bike to claim his eight championship at the world’s most prestigious cycling competition.

He is currently with Team Astana together with former manager Alain Gallopin and previous Tour winner Alberto Contador.

With the mountain region up ahead, this is a make-or-break stage as it may decide which fate Armstrong will have in this year’s tour.

Will he win number eight? Let’s cheer!

Pacman strikes anew

manny-pacquiao Not only did Pacman re-assert his dominance, he cemented himself in history.

Manny Pacquiao scored a stunning second round knockout over Ricky Hatton to wrest the IBO and Ring Magazine Light Welterweight belt at the Mandalay Bay Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Known as Pacman, Manny floored Ricky twice in the first round via both fist.

And just when the bell sounds for the second round, Pacquaio knocked Hatton out of his senses that the British boxer forgot where the hell he is that time, all glassy-eyed.

Pacquiao pocketed $12million exclusive of tv sales and mechandises.

Meanwhile, Hatton is currently contemplating if/when to retire.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is mum on what happened to the fight and his prized-fighter. Pacman and Roach now owns a two-to-nothing card over Floyd Sr. and his gladiators.

Who’s next? Name them all. Mosley, Cotto, Floyd Jr., Marquez? BRING THEM ON!
